The Department of Finance, NUS Business School, invites applications for the Low Tuck Kwong Distinguished Chair in Finance.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants should be distinguished and outstanding scholars with an extremely strong research record in the fields of finance or economics or allied disciplines with a strong interest in finance. Preference will be given for candidates with an interest in energy finance, however, candidates from all areas of finance will be given careful consideration. We offer salaries competitive with leading U.S. schools. In addition, subsidized housing is also provided. The tax rate in Singapore is among the lowest in developed countries, with the top marginal tax rate for personal income being 20% at present. The Low Tuck Kwong Distinguished Professorship is endowed by Dato Low Tuck Kwong, the founder of the Bayan Group. The Bayan Group is an integrated coal producer in Indonesia with total assets of over 8 billion Indonesian Rupiah.
