Assistant Professor Position in Finance
The Department of Finance at the Lerner College of Business and Economics seeks to hire at least one tenure-track assistant professor in Finance starting September 1, 2012.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants for this position should have a Ph.D. or expect to complete their degree requirements prior to appointment. All faculty members are expected to publish in top finance and economics journals, teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and contribute to the intellectual life of the university.
ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY: The University of Delaware is located on a beautiful campus in Newark, Delaware. The University of Delaware is a well-endowed public institution with selective admissions, resulting in a student body of about 17,000 undergraduate and 3,500 graduate students. Support for research is excellent, including a one-semester third-year research sabbatical, laboratory facilities, on-line library and database resources (WRDS), and college and university research grants.
