     institutions, is recruiting research engineers, research
     analysts, research assistants and calculation engineers.



     RESEARCH ENGINEER/QUANTITATIVE ANALYST - ONE VACANCY IN
     NICE, FRANCE AND ONE VACANCY IN SINGAPORE:


     The successful candidate will be a financial engineer with
     significant skills in quantitative finance, modelling and
     calculation. A typical profile would be an engineering
     graduate from a leading school with subsequent experience
     and/or training in finance. Experience in a research post
     with an investment bank or asset management company would
     be an asset for this position. The successful candidate
     will participate in the EDHEC-Risk research centre's work
     in the area of applied asset management research and will
     work on optimisation, stochastic modelling, etc. Interested
     candidates who do not have a PhD will have the possibility
     of enrolling in the EDHEC-Risk PhD in Finance programme.



     RESEARCH ASSISTANT - TWO VACANCIES IN NICE, FRANCE, ONE
     VACANCY IN LONDON, UK, AND TWO VACANCIES IN SINGAPORE:


     Scholarships, tuition waivers and stipends will be proposed
     to selected students who meet stringent admission
     requirements for the PhD in Finance programme at EDHEC.
     Research assistants work within the EDHEC-Risk research
     centre on industry-sponsored research programmes and
     provide support to the research engineer and research
     analyst functions. Work within the centre deals with
     various aspects of the risk and asset management process.
     These research positions provide EDHEC PhD in Finance
     candidates with unique opportunities to make use of and
     refine the concepts and tools covered in class. Experience
     within the financial industry would be an asset for this
     position.



     RESEARCH ANALYST - TWO VACANCIES IN NICE, FRANCE:


     The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing
     the investment practices of institutional investors and
     asset managers, as well as specific industry trends, for
     example in asset-liability management or indexing.
     Reporting to the centre's head of applied research, the
     candidate will write industry surveys that are regularly
     published by the research centre and provide analysis of
     the business and industry contexts for the centre's more
     theoretical research projects. This includes analysing
     industry trends and their conceptual background based on
     industry and research publications, as well as analysing
     and gathering data on specific products or investor types.
     The role thus offers an overview of industry-relevant
     research topics and requires a good general knowledge and
     broad interest in various asset management topics.
