     The Department of Economics, Finance and Legal Studies at
     The University of Alabama invites applications for a
     tenure-track position in Finance beginning August 16, 2010.



     JOB DESCRIPTION/QUALIFICATIONS:


     Applications are invited from candidates who will have
     completed their Ph.D. by August 2010. Salary is
     competitive. Primary duties will include teaching at the
     Ph.D., MBA and undergraduate levels, engaging in a research
     program that results in published articles in outstanding
     scholarly publications and performing service as assigned
     by the Department, College and University. For candidates
     with prior teaching experience, evidence of teaching
     effectiveness is also required. Teaching experience at the
     MBA level is especially desirable. Information about the
