Visiting Positions in Finance
The Finance group of HEC-Lausanne is seeking to fill
several visiting positions in finance for the 2009-2010
academic year. The preferred finance specialties are
investments, derivatives, and fixed income/quantitative
credit risk. The teaching load of one course amounts to 42
contact hours. These are nine-month, non-tenure-track
positions. Visiting positions for one semester are also
available. HEC provides support (teaching assistants) for
the grading and tutorials. The invited professor or post
doctoral researcher will find adequate IT support, access
to electronic journals, and data bases. Wages are
competitive.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Visiting professors and post-docs will be considered, but
our preference is for candidates who can demonstrate recent
teaching experience in finance at university level.
ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY:
The University of Lausanne is located in Switzerland on the
shores of Lake Geneva. The train ride from Lausanne to
Geneva airport is about 40mn. For the visitor interested in
climbing and winter sports, Lausanne is located one hour
away from Europe's largest ski area. The climate in
Lausanne is mild during the Winter and pleasant during the
Summer.
