The University of Adelaide Business School is seeking to
fill a number of positions in Finance to further contribute
to the teaching and research activities of the discipline.
The Business School houses several disciplines including
finance and forms the largest school in the University with
over 80 full-time staff. Finance forms one of the larger
disciplines and teaches into a number of programs from
undergraduate right up to PhD level with students coming
from Australia and around the world. Further information on

ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY:
The University of Adelaide is at the heart of Adelaide
city, which is the capital of South Australia. It is the
third oldest university in Australia and has a long history
as a research intensive institution with approximately
18,000 students and 3,000 staff.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
To be successful in this role you should have a capacity
and willingness to contribute to activities in the Business
School in a way that enhances the capacity of the Business
School to take a vibrant role in engaging with the finance
profession and the community.
You should have:
- A PhD or near completion in Finance
- Evidence of successful teaching in Finance at tertiary
level
- Ability to contribute to the publication output of the
School
- Written and oral communication skills necessary to carry
out the normal duties of the position
- Competence to accept primary responsibility for some
courses and administrative tasks of the School
- Preparedness to form and maintain contacts with the
professional and business communities
- Ability to work harmoniously and constructively with
members of staff of the Business School
The successful applicants will be appointed at an
appropriate level depending on qualifications and relevant
experience. Please examine the specific selection criteria
for the different levels of appointment (Level B, Level C,
or Level D).
SALARY:
Salaries are negotiable, internationally competitive and
attract an employer superannuation contribution of 17
percent.
