Tilburg University invites applications for Visiting
(Associate) Research Professors in Macroeconomics or
Financial Economics. The visiting research positions are
aimed at attracting highly productive scholars. The
positions are based at the Department of Economics or the
Department of Finance, both of which are among the most
research oriented in Europe. See:

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Commencing on an agreed date in the academic year 2009/10,
the positions have a duration of approximately one year.
Remunerated teaching of a graduate course can be arranged.
The positions will allow interaction with Tilburg faculty
and graduate students, and presentation of recent work.
Tilburg's central location and research networks provide
ample opportunities for short visits to other European
research groups. The ideal candidate is a recently tenured
Associate Professor from a top research department, but
candidates at the seasoned Assistant or promoted
Full Professor level are also encouraged to apply. Scholars
working in the fields of macroeconomics and financial
economics are welcome to apply. A special interest
in the department exists in the area of banking. A visiting
professor doing research related to banking will be
associated with the European Banking Center. See:

SALARY/EXPENSES:
CentER - http://center.nl - will provide accommodation and
refund economy class travel expenses. The positions carry a
salary.
