                        Professor of Finance


     George Mason University, School of Management, Finance Area
     seeks to fill a one-year, nontenure-track position to start
     in the fall 2009 semester. Appointment will be as a half-
     time Professor of Finance with a possibility to renew
     annually for a one-year term.


     JOB QUALIFICATIONS/DESCRIPTION:

     Successful applicants will have a Ph.D. or equivalent, and
     a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and scholarly
     research. The teaching load will be three courses per year
     with teaching in both our undergraduate and graduate level
     (MBA/EMBA) programs. We are especially interested in
     applicants with established research records and
     professional experience in the regulation of financial
     institutions and markets. Applicants should have the
     ability to teach in the areas of financial institutions,
     financial markets and corporate finance. A demonstrated
     record of successful teaching is expected.
