      The University of Northern British Columbia, in conjunction
      with the School of Business, invites applications for a
      Tenured Associate/Full Professor and Chair in the School of
      Business.


      JOB DESCRIPTION/QUALIFICATIONS:

      The person appointed will serve as Chair of the School of
      Business to provide strong academic leadership in
      developing the potential of the School and its areas of
      study. The terms of Chair are normally for three to five
      years renewable for a second term. The successful
      candidate will be an active scholar able to teach in
      support of one of the majors within the BCOMM degree.


      ABOUT THE SCHOOL OF BUSINESS:

      The School of Business is the largest academic program in
      the University with over 500 students. It offers two
      degrees: (1) A Bachelor of Commerce with majors in
      Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, International
      Business, Marketing and General Business and (2) an
      innovative Masters of Business Administration. A new Master
      of Science degree is under consideration. UNBC is one of
      Canada's best small universities. It features a personal
      environment and is particularly oriented to the northern
      region. It is also a research-intensive institution;
      between 2002 and 2007, UNBC saw the second largest rate of
      growth in research funding among universities in Canada and
      was the highest amongst BC universities. UNBC is committed

      Located in north-central British Columbia, Prince George is
