            W3 Professorship in Business Administration

      The Faculty of Economics invites applications for a W3
      Professorship in Business Administration (Main focus:
      Financial Service Industries) as of April 1, 2009.

      Reference is made to S 70 section 6 Hessisches
      Hochschulgesetz (HHG) and conditions of employment based
      on S 71 HHG. Proficient knowledge of German is expected.


      JOB DESCRIPTION/QUALIFICATIONS:

      The position represents the chair in Financial Service
      Industries with a primary research and teaching focus in
      the areas of risk management, financial institutions,
      insurance or asset management. The successful candidate is
      expected to teach in the BA and MA programs in business
      administration (decision sciences and risk management,
      insurance and financial service industries) as well as in
      the department's doctoral program. Active contribution in
      our research concentration in "Money-Banking-Insurance" is
      required. Ideally the applicant will be engaged in
      scholarly research with a focus on international, empirical
      and applied research. It is expected that the candidate has
      experience in external funded research projects.

      The Justus-Liebig-University aims to employ more women in
