economics to important current litigation, business, and
policy issues.
JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Consultants and Senior Consultants are responsible for
executing projects, managing junior economists, and dealing
with clients; creating quantitative analysis and performing
quantitative assessments; applying knowledge of specific
markets to solve complex business problems; preparing
client memos and expert reports, and presenting results in
a clear and articulate manner to clients and team members.
They often present oral and written testimony, perform
applied research for government and business clients,
execute complex analyses, formulate creative research and
approaches to problem solving.
The qualified candidate will work independently within a
team environment on client advisory projects and litigation
casework related to quantitative financial and economic
analysis across several industries and markets.
QUALIFICATIONS:
As a qualified candidate, you should have a Masters or
Ph.D. in economics, accounting, finance, mathematics,
statistics, or a scientific or related field, with a strong
academic record. You must be detail-oriented and have the
ability to think analytically and critically.
Demonstrate excellent writing and presentation skills and
be fluent in English. Be highly efficient using desktop
tools such as Microsoft Office applications including Word,
Excel, Access and PowerPoint and adept at online research.
Have capabilities with analytical software environments
such as SAS, STATA, Visual Basic, and C/C++.
