      Applications are invited for faculty positions for the
      academic year 2008-2009 in the Department of Finance &
      Economics (Ref.: 620-CIMF) at King Fahd University of
      Petroleum & Minerals, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. Positions
      available are Full-time Professors, Associate Professor,
      and Assistant Professor.


      JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

      PhD in Finance or Economics.

      Applicants should have a strong record of published
      research, experience in supervising research of graduate
      students, and relevant teaching experience at the
      university level. As the medium of instruction at the
      University is English, the applicant must be fluent in
      English.


      AREAS OF SPECIALIZATION:

      FINANCE:
      Investments, Corporate Finance, Financial Institutions
      Management, Risk Management and Insurance, Real Estate
      Management, Financial Policy, International Finance, and
      Security Analysis & Portfolio Management


      ECONOMICS:
      Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Money and Banking,
      International Economics, Public Finance, Managerial
      Economics, and Energy Economics


      SALARY AND BENEFITS:

      Two-year renewable contract, competitive salary based on
      qualifications and experience, free furnished air-
      conditioned on-campus housing unit with free essential
      utilities and maintenance. Subject to University policy,
      the appointment includes the following additional benefits:
      Air ticket/s to Dammam on appointment; annual repatriation
      air tickets to Dammam for the faculty and up to three of
      his dependents; tuition fees for school-age dependent
      children enrolled in local schools; local transportation
      allowance; two-months' paid summer vacation, end-of-service
      benefits, and free access to recreation facilities. KFUPM
      campus has a range has a range of facilities including
      medical & dental clinic, teaching and research support
      facilities such as an extensive library acquisitions and
      library databases, computing facilities, smart classrooms,
      and research and teaching laboratories. The campus is
      within a very short distance from the cities of Dammam and
      Al-Khobar.
