Visiting Finance Faculty Position
Available Fall 2008
HYU at Ansan in Korea is seeking a qualified candidate for
a visiting position at the Assistant/Associate/Full
Professor rank. The one-year appointment will begin in
Fall 2008. The tenure-track, if qualified, will be
considered also. Qualified candidates at all ranks are
welcome to apply. The individual must be able to
effectively teach mainly undergraduate finance courses and
accommodate other teaching and research interests.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Ph.D. or D.B.A. with specialization in Finance from an
AACSB-accredited college of business program. Candidates
should have potential for excellent teaching and research.
Business experience is a plus.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
HYU at Ansan emphasizes teaching. In addition, candidates
must have a commitment to research which leads to quality
refereed publications. The university provides excellent
support for faculty research. Service to the university and
the profession is also expected.
ABOUT THE COLLEGE:
The College of Economics and Business at HYU Ansan offers
undergraduate and graduate degrees, serves approximately
1,500 business students, and is actively pursuing AACSB
accreditation.
