           Clinical Assistant, Associate or Full Professor


     The Department of Finance in the W. P. Carey School of
     Business at Arizona State University seeks qualified
     applicants for one or more Clinical Professor positions
     (any rank, not tenure-track).


     JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

     All candidates must have a PhD in Finance or a related
     field, a demonstrated interest in teaching in the field of
     finance and have evidence of successful teaching activity,
     appropriate to rank.


     ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE:

     The Department of Finance is well known nationally for its
     research and teaching excellence and the individuals chosen
     will join a vibrant professional atmosphere. The
     successful candidates will be expected to contribute to the
     department's mission in teaching and institutional
     commitment and to deliver instruction at the undergraduate
     and graduate levels. The position is an ideal appointment
     for anyone who wishes to concentrate exclusively on
     teaching and related activities such as mentoring and
     curriculum development.


     JOB DESCRIPTION:

     The positions are available August 2008, with a two-year
     rolling appointment in a full-time position with no tenure
     implications. Rolling appointments are evaluated on an
     annual basis renewable for an additional two-year
     appointment at the end of the first year, and every year
     thereafter. The renewal is contingent upon availability of
     funds, satisfactory performance and the needs of the
     university. Salary is competitive and dependent upon
     qualifications, experience and rank.
