Quantitative Modeller and Credit Risk Manager
The Abu Dhabi Investment Company (ADIC) invites
applications for a Quantitative Modeller and Credit Risk
Manager reporting to the Sr. Vice-president - Risk
Management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, implement and run an in house internal rating
based system for the company's credit book.
- Implement Portfolio Credit risk/Credit var methodologies
and economic capital determination.
- Assess risks of all credit related financial instruments,
including advanced credit structures.
- Contribute to the design and running of a multi period
stochastic asset and liability management model.
- Implement numerical optimisation models for asset
allocation that include both market and credit risk
factors.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ph.D. graduate or candidate in finance, economics,
statistics, mathematics, or econometrics.
Competencies:
- A very solid background in finance, statistics and
econometrics is essential. In particular, strong academic
and hands on experience in credit risk modelling, non
linear optimisation techniques and financial econometrics
is required.
- Advanced ability to use Windows-based applications
(including VBA programming) and a thorough knowledge of
Matlab, Eviews or similar mathematical and econometric
packages is necessary.
- Excellent English report writing and communication skills
are essential.
- Ability to work on his/her own initiative and in a
largely autonomous way.
