Visiting Assistant/Associate Professor of Finance
The Babcock Graduate School of Management at Wake Forest
University is seeking a qualified candidate for a visiting
faculty position. The one-year appointment will begin in
August 2008. While qualified candidates at all ranks are
welcome to apply, preference will be given to those at the
senior Assistant or Associate Professor level. The
individual we are seeking must be able to effectively teach
graduate-level courses in the areas of corporate finance
and/or investments.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
For this position, the Babcock School seeks an individual
with strong teaching skills and a developed research
program. The qualified candidate must have a minimum of
three years teaching experience (preferably with some at
the graduate level) and a record of high quality research
publications.
Due to the integrated nature of our curriculum, it is
important that the qualified candidate will be able to
interact and work closely with faculty from other
disciplines.

Wake Forest University is a well-endowed, private
institution with a total enrollment of 6,700. The
University is located in the heart of the Piedmont region
of North Carolina, a metropolitan area of approximately one
million. The Babcock Graduate School of Management has
campuses in Winston-Salem, NC (on the beautiful grounds of
Wake Forest University) and in Charlotte, NC, where we are
building a new, state-of-the-art educational facility. All
faculty members teach at both locations.
