Senior Instructor
The School of Business and Management invites applications
for a Senior Instructor in its Department of Finance.
JOB DESCRIPTION/QUALIFICATIONS:
Major responsibilities will be teaching at undergraduate
and/or MBA/MSc level. Where applicable, the appointee may
carry the title of Adjunct Professor/Adjunct Associate
Professor. The appointee should have a PhD degree or
equivalent in Finance or a related discipline, plus good
track records for teaching. Experience in teaching large
classes will be an advantage.
ABOUT HKUST:
Founded in 1991, the HKUST Business School has grown
rapidly since its establishment and has become a leading
business school in the Asia-Pacific region. It is one of
the first business schools in Asia to be accredited by both
AACSB and EQUIS. The School is repeatedly ranked top in the
region by the Financial Times in its annual MBA, EMBA and
Executive Education rankings. Its Department of Finance has
been consistently ranked No. 1 in research in the Asia-
Pacific region and among the top 25 in the world, according
to the FMA-ASU Finance research rankings. The School has
six departments and 140 top scholars on its faculty. It
offers courses at the undergraduate, MBA, MSc, and PhD
levels. All courses are taught in English.

appointment is normally for two years, renewable subject
to mutual agreement.
