Netspar International Pension Workshop

January 2014, Amsterdam Deadline For Paper Submission November 1, 2013 Netspar stimulates innovative academic research in all disciplines in the social sciences related to ageing and retirement. For the Netspar Pension Workshop to be organized in January 2014 Netspar invites contributions from all areas of Netspar's research program (see http://www.netspar.nl). TOPICS: Topics of interest are: Risk management during working life Risk management during retirement years The art of choosing Supervision of fully funded pensions: solvency and transparency Risk sharing and distribution among generations: full funding, pay-as-you-go, taxation The labor market Heterogeneity within generations and the position of senior citizens DESCRIPTION PENSION WORKSHOP JANUARY 2014: Date: January 29 - 31 Location: Marriott Hotel, Amsterdam, the Netherlands ( http://www.marriott.com/hotels/travel/amsnt-amsterdam-marriott-hotel ) The workshop starts with a training day (Wednesday), the second and third days will be arranged as an academic conference with contributed papers. Invited talks are by: Andrew Ang, Columbia University Mariacristina de Nardi, University College London INTERESTED IN PARTICIPATION: Researchers interested in participating are requested to submit a complete paper to events@netspar.nl before November 1, 2013. Netspar has funding available that covers accommodation (up to three nights) and travel expenses (economy based) for all speakers and discussants.
