FPSC Foundation launches Financial Planning Research Grant
Competition in Canada.
The Foundation's mission is to develop and disseminate research that
is relevant and useful to the financial planning profession. Up to
$40,000 in grants are available, and the Application deadline is
October 25 2013.
GRANT OBJECTIVES: All submitted research grants must meet the
research objectives of the Foundation which includes the development
and dissemination of:
1. Technical research that examines best practices in financial
planning decision-making;
2. Behavioural research that examines the impact of human behaviour
on effective financial planning; and
3. Societal research that examines the benefits of financial planning
on society as a whole.
QUALIFICATIONS: The Principal Applicant must be a Canadian citizen or
legal resident. Co-applicants may be citizens or residents of other countries.
