You are invited to participate in the 2014 Global Conference on Business and Finance (GCBF) – Honolulu, Hawaii, USA. The Conference, sponsored by The Institute for Business and Finance Research, LLC (IBFR), will be held from January 6-9, 2014 at the Ala Moana Hotel, Honolulu, Hawaii, USA. Honolulu is an exciting destination with much to offer. The Island is home to some of the best beaches in the world including Waikiki Beach. Assorted water activities are available. There are many additional activities including the Polynesian Cultural Center, Arizona and Missouri Museums, world class shopping and a variety of shows. TOPICS: Theoretical and empirical papers in all areas of business, finance, marketing, management, accounting, MIS, public administration, economics, business law, business education, agribusiness, health care administration and related fields are welcome. Case studies in all areas of business finance and related fields are also welcome. Papers do not need to be global in nature. English and Spanish language sessions will be offered. An Internet Session will be offered for those unable to make the trip to Hawaii.

BENEFITS OF ATTENDING: Paid participants can make a 15-20 minute presentation and can attend all conference events. You can publish your paper in the conference proceedings and compete for the outstanding research award. The Conference is affiliated with eight peer-reviewed journals: The International Journal of Business and Finance Research, International Journal of Management and Marketing Research, Global Journal of Business Research, Accounting and Taxation, Business Education and Accreditation, Review of Business and Finance Studies, Revista Internacional Administracion & Finanzas and Revista Global de Negocios. Papers honored with the Outstanding Research Award at the conference will be offered publication in one of our journals. SUBMISSIONS FOR PRESENTATION CONSIDERATION: Submit a 200-word abstract or full paper at: http://www.theibfr.com/cs.htm. Early submissions are greatly appreciated. All submissions must be in Microsoft Word.

CONFERENCE FEES: All attending participants must register and pay the non-refundable, nontransferable registration fee. Conference registration is $360 for presenting and non-presenting attendees. The registration fee for full-time students is $330. There is an US$80 fee for each additional paper. An additional $50 fee applies for papers having five or more authors. A $50 late fee applies for registration fees received after the regular payment deadline. If your payment is not received by the final payment deadline, your participation will be cancelled. SPONSORED FOOD AND BEVERAGE: During the reception, Hors d'ouevres and soft drinks will be provided by the Institute for Business and Finance Research. The networking luncheon will be sponsored by Accounting and Taxation. The award banquet will be sponsored by The International Journal of Business and Finance Research and Business Education & Accreditation. Additional luncheon and banquet tickets are available for purchase for those participants attending with a guest(s) or spouse. The price per ticket is $30. These tickets are not available to non-registered co-authors.

HOTEL INFORMATION: We encourage you to stay at the conference hotel and arrange for your lodging early as the hotel will sell out well in advance of the conference during this time of year. Hotel rates for the conference start at $129 per night. These rates will be honored December 28, 2013 – January 11, 2014. These rates will be available for booking until November 26, 2013, or until the block of rooms is reserved, whichever occurs first.
