Call for Research Projects
Europlace Institute of Finance

Deadline: July 31, 2013

The Europlace Institute of Finance, a foundation recognized since 2005 as serving the public interest, aims to implement and foster existing or potential synergies, in France and throughout Europe, between research/training in the field of economics and finance and professionals working in the financial marketplace (financial intermediaries, investors and managers, issuers and financial markets companies). The Institute's founders are committed to developing a sustainable capacity to carry out such initiatives.

As in previous years, our Foundation is launching a new call for research projects in 2013. This call for tenders is intended for all members of the academic community concerned by financial issues, with no restrictions as to academic disciplines.

THEMES: In partnership with the Louis Bachelier Laboratory of Excellence, the Europlace Institute of Finance will fund 15 research projects, each of which will receive an amount of Euro 10,000. Selected projects will focus on issues considered to be of major importance in the current context. These issues are organized around four themes:
- Macroeconomics
- Mesoeconomics, "industrial" market economics
- Risks, financial products and financing of the economy
- Real estate

Please see the link below for a description of the subjects selected for 2013: http://www.europlace-finance.net/call2013/Themes_2013.pdf

Particular attention will be paid to projects involving multiple teams, and especially those involving a cooperation between multiple European teams. The deadline to submit applications for this call for tenders is July 31, 2013.
