I. GOALS:
- Advance financial research findings
- Strengthening links between higher education institutions-corporations-and government on relevant research issues focusing on economic and social development
- Promoting the exchange of ideas and join research work among international scholars

II. SESSIONS:
1. Corporate finance
2. Financial and stock markets
3. Risk management, derivatives, bonds, insurance
4. International finance
5. Social finance
6. Banking and credit
7. Social security
8. Other financial issues

III. BASICS:
1. Papers may be submitted in Spanish or English, individually or co-authored (maximum three authors for each paper and a maximum of three papers by any author)
2. Papers must be original and unpublished
3. Papers will be double blind refereed
4. Accepted papers for the congress may be submitted to the XXIX IMEF-Enrst & Young Financial Research Award 2013 ( http://www.imef.org.mx; or else they can be submitted to the Mexican Journal of Economics and Finance/Revista Mexicana de Economia y Finanzas, (REMEF)

IV. GUIDELINES TO AUTHORS:
1. Maximum length: 35 pages, Times New Roman, 12 pts. Font
- Single spaced but double spaced between paragraphs, justified
- Page numbering at the bottom center
2. Include the name(s) and authors information in a separate page; do not include information about the authors in the main text of the paper
3. Include at the beginning of the text an abstract no longer than 150 words
4. Papers must be submitted in three files as follows:

File 1: Front page, containing:
- Name of the congress
- Title of the paper
- Session track (See Section II)
- Full names of the contact author and coauthors
- Higher degree, of each author
- Institutional affiliations and department
- Personal and institutional e-mail
- Phone numbers

File 2: Abstract, including the title, omitting information about the author(s)

File 3. Full paper, omitting information about the author(s)

5. The conference Proceedings will be published in a CD with a ISSN number. Authors must indicate whether or not they want their work included in the Proceedings.

VII. FEES:
Before August 19:
- Registered participants: US$100
- General public US$140
- Students US$ 80

After August 19: US$120

Registration fees include: Certificate of participation, attendance to sessions and keynote speakers conferences, conference program and conference kit, one lunch (August 29), coffee breaks and Proceedings.
