First Paris Financial Management Conference (PFMC-2013)

You are cordially invited to submit your research papers for presentation consideration at the first Paris Financial Management Conference (PFMC-2013) that will take place on 16-17 December 2013 at the breathtaking and enchanting "Saint-Germain-des-Pres" district of Paris. This two-day conference, hosted by the IPAG Business School (France), aims to bring together academics, practitioners and policymakers sharing interests in financial management, financial markets, corporate governance, etc. It also provides a forum for presenting new research results as well as discussing current and challenging issues in financial management and related topics. A Doctoral Student Workshop will be held on Monday, December 16, 2013.

TOPICS: The scientific and organizing committees welcome submissions in all areas of financial management for presentation at the conference no later than July 28, 2013 (early submission is highly encouraged). The main topics of the conference include, but not limited to:

PAPER SUBMISSION PROCEDURE: Authors are invited to submit their papers (in English) in WORD/PDF files, no later than, July 28, 2013 via the conference website: http://ffmc.sciencesconf.org/user/submit. Submitted manuscripts will be peer-reviewed. The conference scientific program will be available by August 31, 2013. General inquiries regarding the call for papers should be directed to any of the conference chairs.

IMPORTANT DATES:
July 28, 2013: Deadline for paper submission
August 31, 2013: Notification of acceptance/rejection
December 16-17, 2013: Conference event
January 05, 2014: Deadline for submission to the special issues

PUBLICATION OPPORTUNITIES: A selection of high-quality research papers will be published in a Special Issue of International Review of Financial Analysis ( http://www.journals.elsevier.com/international-review-of-financial-analysis ) as well as in Bankers, Markets & Investors ( http://www.revue-banque.fr/bankers-markets-investors/numero-123), subjected to the journals' normal refereeing process. Additional information will be provided to the authors in December 2013.

ACCOMMODATIONS: The organizing committee will provide the attendees with a list of several hotels located within a short walk from the conference venue. Detailed information will be available on the conference website as soon as possible.

REGISTRATION: The deadline for registration is Monday, 18 November 2013. The fee includes conference materials, coffee breaks and a dinatory cocktail.

Early bird fee: (Payment prior to Monday, 14 October 2013)
- Standard registration: Euro 200
- PhD students: Euro 100

Full fee: (Payment received after Monday, 14 October 2013)
- Standard registration: Euro 250
- PhD students: Euro 150
