Conference on "Banking, Finance, Money and Institutions: The Post Crisis Era"

2-3 November 2013, University of Surrey, Guildford, UK

The Centre for Money, Banking & Institutions of the University of Surrey and the Center for Research in Contemporary Finance of Fordham University jointly organize the Conference on "Banking, Finance, Money and Institutions: The Post Crisis Era." The Conference will take place at The Surrey Business School, Faculty of Business, Economics and Law, School of Management Building, University of Surrey, Guildford, GU2 7XH, UK.

OVERVIEW: The Conference aims to provide a forum for debate among researchers and policy makers from around the world on the performance of banking and financial markets, financial stability and risk management, and the monetary, regulatory and institutional environment, in light of the recent financial crisis. Topics of special interest, although not confined to the ones below, are: Financial Stability, Financial regulation and Monetary policy, Bank management, Financial Markets, Political economy of the crisis, etc.

Accepted papers will be considered for publication in two journals (all the papers will be refereed following the normal practices of each journal), namely "Financial Markets, Institutions & Instruments" and "International Review of Financial Analysis".

The Plenary Speakers are: Anthony Saunders (New York University, USA) and Hans Degryse (University of Leuven, Belgium & Tilburg University, Netherlands)

PAPER SUBMISSION PROCEDURE: Those wishing to present a paper at the conference are invited to submit the full paper or a detailed abstract of 2-3 pages via the online submission system, by 15 June 2013: http://ocs.som.surrey.ac.uk/index.php/bfmi/bfmi

Registration Fees-early (on/before 31 July 2013): British Pound 250
Registration Fees-late (1 August - 15 September): British Pound 300
Full-time student registration fees*- early: British Pound 180
Full-time student Registration Fees* -late: British Pound 230
