Call for Papers
XXI Finance Forum at IE Business School

IE Business School is proud to host the XXI Finance Forum. The Forum is the annual meeting of the Spanish Finance Association (AEFIN), publisher of the Spanish Review of Financial Economics.

We invite academics and professionals in the area of financial economics to submit their work.

MEETING DATES: The Forum will be held at IE Business School campus in Segovia on November 14th and 15th, 2013.

ORGANIZERS: The Scientific Committee is chaired by Fernando Zapatero (Marshall School of Business, USC). The Organizing Committee is led by Juan-Pedro Gomez (IE Business School). A complete list of the Scientific Committee is available at http://financeforum.ie.edu/scientific-committee.php

PAPER SUBMISSION PROCEDURE: Papers in all fields of financial economics will be considered. To submit a paper, please visit the following link: http://editorialexpress.com/conference/forofinanzas2013

Only blind papers submitted through this link will be considered. Authors will be notified about their papers status by August 1st. In the submission, authors can choose whether they want their paper to be considered for a special issue of the Spanish Review of Financial Economics.

SUBMISSIONS DEADLINE: papers can be submitted until midnight (CET) of June 1st, 2013.

KEYNOTE SPEAKERS: Arnoud Boot (UVA) and Bruno Biais (Toulouse School of Economics) will be the keynote speakers.

AWARDS: Bolsas y Mercados Espanoles (BME) sponsors the awards to the best papers in Derivatives, Financial Markets and Fixed Income. CaixaBank sponsors the award to the best paper in Banking. There will be an award to the best paper in the Conference sponsored by AEFIN.

THE VENUE: Segovia is a city full of ancient history, whose origin dates back to Celtiberian tribes. It is widely recognized for its artistic and monumental richness and the quality of its traditional Castilian cuisine. The Aqueduct is one of the most astonishing and best preserved Roman structures in the world. In 1985 the UNESCO named Segovia as a World Heritage Site.

Segovia is easily accessible by high speed train from Madrid in less than 30 minutes. The IE campus is centrally located, at walking distance from the hotels.
