Call for Papers
IBEFA/ASSA 2014 Annual Conference
January 3-5, 2014 Philadelphia, PA

The International Banking Economics and Finance Association (IBEFA) Annual Conference will take place on January 3-5, 2014 in Philadelphia (concurrent with the January 3-5, 2014 ASSA Conference).
IBEFA and Program Chair Alistair Milne (Loughborough School of Business and Economics) invite you to submit high-quality research papers for presentation at the 2014 IBEFA Annual Conference. Papers emphasizing financial institutions and markets (either domestic or international) are especially encouraged. Preference will be given to completed papers, but we will also consider extended (2-3 pages) abstracts of papers that will be completed before the conference.
Please feel free to forward this Call for Papers to your professional colleagues who do research in banking, economics, and finance.
All submissions will be reviewed and authors notified by June 15, 2013.
PAPER SUBMISSION PROCEDURE: To be considered, each submitted paper or extended (2-3 page) abstract must include:
1. The title of the paper.
2. For each (co-)author, his/her:
a. Name(s)
b. Institution or affiliation
c. E-mail address
3. JEL classification number
4. Abstract (of 200 words or less)
Submissions cannot be acted upon until all information is on file; please furnish ALL requested information.

FURTHER INFORMATION:
1. To be included in the IBEFA sessions in Philadelphia, at least one author must be a paid-up member of IBEFA as of September 15, 2013.
2. There is no submission fee for papers or extended abstracts; however, ASSA charges the conference registration fee for all attendees at IBEFA sessions. You do not have to join AEA, but an AEA membership allows you to have a reduced registration fee.
