The Institute of Global Finance and the School of Banking & Finance at the Australian School of Business, UNSW, Sydney, would like to invite all academics and practitioners to participate in the 26th Australasian Finance and Banking Conference.

Submission Deadlines: Monday 19 August 2013.

PHD FORUM (as part of the 26th AFBC)

The 26th AFB Conference will include a PhD Forum for advanced Finance Doctoral Students who are currently working on their dissertation. The one day forum will offer 10 accepted students the unique opportunity to present their dissertation proposals and have their work discussed by distinguished academics from top business schools in the US, Europe, and the Asia Pacific region. Throughout the seminar students will take valuable advice from leading scholars on issues such as career development and discuss recent developments in finance literature with fellow students and faculty members.

PRIZES:
Best Paper: AUD $1500
Second Best Paper: AUD $1000
Third Best Paper: AUD $500

AIRFARE/ACCOMMODATION ASSISTANCE: There will be airfare and accommodation assistance of AUD $2000 for PhD candidates from Asia, Europe and North America (provided that their papers are accepted to be included into the PhD forum).

REGISTRATION: The deadline for registration for accepted authors is Monday 4 November 2013
- Early bird fee (Payment prior to Monday 7 October 2013)
- Full fee (Payment received after Monday 7 October 2013)
