Call for Papers
6th Conference on Professional Asset Management

6 - 7 June, 2013, Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University

The conference, organized by the Finance group of Rotterdam School of Management, will bring leading academicians and industry representatives to discuss recent research on mutual funds, hedge funds, pension funds, private equity funds, exchange traded funds, and other forms of delegated portfolio management.

TOPICS: Topics relevant to the conference include, but not limited to, the following:
- Manager selection, performance measurement and attribution
- Investor (client) behavior
- Conflict of interests between investors and funds management companies
- Institutional trading strategies, investment styles, and risk management
- Governance and regulation
- Financial crisis and the role of investment companies

The conference will host a limited number of paper presentations with designated discussants and ample time for discussion and interaction.

KEY-NOTE SPEAKERS: Martin Gruber (New York University) and Clemens Sialm (University of Texas at Austin)

PAPER SUBMISSION PROCEDURE: The submission deadline is March 1, 2013. Please submit a copy of the paper as a pdf or word file to pam@rsm.nl. Authors will be notified about the acceptance of their papers by April 1, 2013.
