Call for Papers
IBEFA/WEAI 2013 Summer Conference

June 29-30, 2013, Seattle, Washington

The International Banking, Economics and Finance Association (IBEFA) Summer Conference will take place at the Grand Hyatt Seattle in Seattle, Washington on June 29-30, 2013 (Concurrent with the June 28-July 2, 2013 Western Economic Association International Conference).

Open Submission Deadline: February 1, 2013

IBEFA and Program Chair Kasper Roszbach (Sveriges Riksbank) invite you to submit high-quality research papers for presentation at the 2013 IBEFA Summer Conference. Preference will be given to completed papers, but we will also consider extended (2-3 pages) abstracts of papers that will be completed before the conference.

Please feel free to forward this Call for Papers to your professional colleagues who do research in banking, economics, and finance.

All submissions will be reviewed and authors will be notified by mid-March 2013.

PAPER SUBMISSION PROCEDURE: To be considered, each submitted paper or extended (2-3 page) abstract must include:
1. The title of the paper
2. For each (co-)author, his/her:
a. Name(s)
b. Institution or affiliation
c. Mailing address of author(s)
d. Phone number of author(s)
e. Email address
f. JEL classification code
3. Abstract (of 200 words or less)

FURTHER INFORMATION:
1. To be included in the IBEFA sessions, at least one author must be a paid-up member of IBEFA as of April 15, 2013.
2. There is no submission fee for papers or extended abstracts; however, WEAI charges a separate WEAI conference registration fee for all attendees at IBEFA sessions. IBEFA members qualify for the WEAI member registration fee.
