Final Call for Papers
The Midwest Finance Association (MFA) conference extends it submission deadline one last time to September 30, 2012 (midnight Pacific time). Submitted papers will be reviewed anonymously and authors will be notified of the Program Committee's decision no later than December 1, 2012. The conference will be held in Chicago on March 13-16, 2013. Papers in all areas of finance will be considered. Highlights of the program include:
Midwest Finance Association Conference
Robert McDonald of Northwestern University will give the Keynote Address on Thursday evening. Professor McDonald is an internationally renowned scholar in both derivatives and corporate finance.
The MFA traditionally showcases an industry expert at its breakfast on Saturday morning. This year we are excited to have Martin Fridson speak at the breakfast. Mr. Fridson is best known for his extensive work on high yield bonds.
The Journal of Fixed Income will devote a special issue to papers on fixed income that are accepted for the conference. Jingzhi (Jay) Huang of Penn State will serve as the editor of this special issue.
Several doctoral student travel awards are available. Doctoral students may register at a reduced fee.
