IBEC invites the submission of proposals for its 12th conference to be held in Caen, France. IBEC provides a forum for discussion among scholars and practitioners to analyze the strategic challenges faced by firms, educators, governments, and other institutions in a global arena.
PAPER SUBMISSION PROCEDURE: You are invited to submit research articles or teaching case studies for presentation. Submissions will be dual-blind reviewed, acceptance being based on quality and relevance. Proposals in English should be submitted via the conference web site: http://www.ibec-info.org/2013. To submit, you need to "Register for IBEC 2013" in the website. Please contact Carlos Trejo-Pech (email@example.com) if you have any questions about submission or deadline. Proposals in French should be submitted to Ameeta Jaiswal-Dale (firstname.lastname@example.org) and in Spanish to Robert Manley (email@example.com and firstname.lastname@example.org).
Accepted papers written in Spanish or French are expected to be presented/discussed in English either by the author, a coauthor, or a colleague. Accepted papers and cases presented in the conference will be published, at the discretion of authors, in the conference proceedings with the U.S. Library of Congress number 1537-2316. Authors retain copyright of their works. Best paper awards are given to competitive papers upon the recommendation of reviewers. Depending upon number of submissions by PhD students, an award may be awarded if merited. Outstanding Award Papers will be considered for publication into JIBE (Journal of International Business and Economy, http://www.i-jibe.org). JIBE provides expedited consideration for those submissions presented at the conference.

FURTHER INFORMATION: Submissions of dissertations in progress are encouraged. Authors should put together their work as an extended abstract and indicate that this part of their graduate work. A lower conference fee will be charged to graduate students presenting.
