Call for Papers
International Banking, Economics, and Finance Association 2013 Annual Meeting

San Diego, California, January 4-6, 2013 (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) (in collaboration with ASSA)

Submission Deadline: June 1, 2012

The International Banking Economics and Finance Association (IBEFA), jointly with the Allied Social Science Associations (ASSA) will hold its annual three-day meeting on January 4-6, 2013 in San Diego. All IBEFA members are invited to submit papers to this meeting. Papers emphasizing financial institutions and markets (either domestic or international) are especially encouraged. Submissions by authors who are not yet members of IBEFA are also welcome.

SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE ANNUAL MEETING, JANUARY 4-6, 2013: Authors, each submission must include an attached cover sheet listing:
1. Title of the paper
2. For each (co)author, his/her

b. Institution or affiliation
c. Mailing address
d. Phone and FAX number
e. E-mail address
3. Short abstract
a. For detailed abstract only submissions, please include a brief abstract in the cover sheet
4. JEL classification number

Submissions cannot be acted upon until all information is on file. Completed papers (which will be given preference) or detailed abstracts should be sent electronically by June 1, 2012 to:

DISCUSSANTS AND CHAIRS: Members who wish to serve as discussant or chair should so inform the IBEFA Secretariat.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: To be on the program, at least one author from each paper must be an IBEFA member. Authors of (provisionally) accepted papers, who are not members, will be given the opportunity to join before the program is finalized.

All ASSA program participants must pay a separate registration fee to attend the ASSA conference. You do not have to join AEA, but an AEA membership allows you to have a reduced registration fee.
