Call for Papers
Second Conference on Behavioral Finance and Capital Markets

The Centre for Applied Financial Studies at the School of Commerce, University of South Australia is inviting finance scholars, practitioners and research students to participate in the specialised second conference on Behavioral Finance and Capital Markets.

The conference will be held at the Rockford Hotel Adelaide, South Australia on 17-18 July (Tuesday and Wednesday) 2012 and will be followed by a tour to Barossa Valley on the 18th of July. Professor Richard Roll - Joel Fried Chair in Applied Finance - from the UCLA Anderson School of Management, will deliver an intriguing keynote address on the topic.

TOPICS: The conference organizing committee invites submissions of high-quality research papers addressing issues on either Behavioral Finance or Capital Markets/Market Microstructure. The review process will determine the quality and suitability of the paper submitted to the conference, whereby all papers will be double-blind reviewed. The author(s) will be notified within two weeks of the submission due date.

CATEGORIES: There are two research prize awards of $1,000 each for best papers in the following categories:
(i) The best paper presented by an Established Researcher, sponsored by Securities Industry Research Centre of Asia-Pacific (SIRCA) and;
(ii) The best paper presented by an Early Career Researcher, sponsored by Capital Markets CRC.

PAPER SUBMISSION PROCEDURE: Interested scholars, practitioners and research students should submit two full copies (files) of their paper saved in PDF format accompanied by the following:
- Copy 1: Title page showing the title of the paper, names of the author(s) together with their title, affiliation, email address, as well as the complete address of the author who will present the paper.
- Copy 2: Title page showing only the title of the paper and excluding the authors' information from the text and the properties of the pdf file.
