Pioneer Fellowship
Applications are invited for a Research Fellowship for young economists who have a Ph.D. or who are about to be awarded one. Applicants must be fluent in English and Italian, both written and spoken.
DESCRIPTION: The fellowship will last twelve months. The winner will receive a monthly stipend of Euro 3,000 before tax. The fellowship will be fully funded by Pioneer Investments.
During the fellowship period the winner will be asked to develop a research project in the fields of: "applied microeconomics", "behavioral finance", "household finance" and "financial market microstructure". The fellow will carry out her/his activity within the Economic & Market Research Unit of Pioneer Investments in Milan.
At the end of the 12 month fellowship, the fellow may be invited by Pioneer Investments to participate in a selection for recruitment as a permanent employee.
The area of the 22 countries where UniCredit operates includes: Austria, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Turkey and Ukraine.

QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must have completed a Ph.D. (or be about to complete it) in economics, finance, political and social sciences in any accredited European or non-European University. If applicants are about to be awarded a Ph.D., they must have completed the exams (and/or other preparatory activity) required for their Ph.D. or equivalent degree, and have only their doctoral theses yet to be discussed. Applicants must be fluent in English and Italian, both written and spoken.
