Call for Papers
Northern Finance Association (NFA) 2012 Annual Meeting

September 28-30, 2012, Niagara Falls, Canada

Hosted by Wilfrid Laurier University, Waterloo, Canada

Keynote Speaker: Professor Andrew Karolyi, Alumni Professor in Asset Management, Cornell University

The Northern Finance Association will hold its 24th Annual Meeting in Niagara Falls, Canada, during September 28- 30, 2012 (Hotel venue is the Marriott Gateway on the Falls, located next to one of the natural wonders of the world).

We invite all members and friends of the Association to enthusiastically submit papers and participate in the 2012 Annual Meeting. We welcome research papers in all areas of Finance.

With tight acceptance rates, NFA is proving to be a venue for top papers, and hence is being reckoned among the best conferences North America.

AWARDS: Several paper awards will be given in a variety of categories (see the conference website below for more information). To be eligible for such an award, the paper must be accepted, and the presenting author must be registered for the Conference by May 20, 2012.

PAPER SUBMISSION PROCEDURE: Papers must be submitted in Acrobat PDF format, with the authors' identification removed. Use the "Paper Submission" link at: http://northernfinance.org/2012/index.html

In your paper submission, please clearly indicate the presenting author. Multiple submissions referencing a single presenting author are discouraged. If your paper is accepted, you are expected to serve as a discussant in your field of research.

Submission Deadline is March 25, 2012. Papers will be blind reviewed and authors will be notified by May 6, 2012.
