The Conference is organised by ESCP Europe Business School under the auspices of FEBS, and in collaboration with the Financial Engineering Laboratory of the Technical University of Crete (Greece).

OVERVIEW: The meeting aims to provide a forum for researchers and practitioners to exchange ideas and present new research results on the theory and modern practice of financial engineering and bank management. A special emphasis will be made on the development of the banking and risk management industries in a financial crisis era.

It is our great pleasure to announce that the Conference will be Guest-Editing a special issue for the Journal of Banking and Finance.

SPEAKERS: The Conference is also honoured to have as Guest Speakers:
- Professor Ike Mathur, Southern Illinois University and Managing Editor of Journal of Banking and Finance
- Professor Lucio Sarno, Head of Finance Faculty at Cass Business School

PAPER SUBMISSION PROCEDURE: Those wishing to present a paper at the Conference are invited to submit a full paper as soon as possible and no later than Monday 5th March 2012.
