CALL FOR PAPERS

MID-ATLANTIC RESEARCH CONFERENCE IN FINANCE PROGRAM (MARC)

One Day Conference, March 26, 2010
                           Villanova, PA

This year marks the Fifth Annual Mid-Atlantic Research
Conference in Finance (MARC). The Villanova School of
Business invites finance researchers to submit their
research for possible inclusion in the Fourth Annual MARC
event. We are looking to continue our tradition of sharing
high quality research papers in all areas of finance
through a 1-day conference which will also includes a
     distinguished keynote luncheon speaker.

In previous conferences, we have benefited from
presentations by keynote speakers such as Professors
Franklin Allen, David Denis, Mark Flannery, and Michael
Lemmon. Papers presented at prior conferences have also
been published in the Review of Financial Studies, Journal
of Banking & Finance, and other high quality finance
     journals.

There will be several sessions during the day, with each
session including 2-3 papers that are selected, after peer
review, for inclusion in the conference. If accepted,
authors will present their research at the conference which
is scheduled for Friday, March 26, 2010. This is a
selective and competitive process but we look for broad
participation among the many excellent academic
institutions in the Mid-Atlantic region and around the
world. All topics in finance will be considered.
