SKEMA Business School invites candidates to apply for a full-time position in the field of international business or related fields on the SKEMA Sophia-Antipolis campus, France. He or she will have to start activities on the 1st of September, 2016. He or she will have to travel to other SKEMA Business School campuses.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: The Associate Professor will have a PhD, preferably in International Business, and an attractive research program. The successful candidate is expected to have published in top-tier academic journals. He or she has experience in teaching and managing multicultural groups of students and working in an international and multicultural team. English is the working language on the campus and teaching is in English. Knowledge of French is appreciated. Experience of the business (via consulting activities or previous industry experience) will be taken into special consideration.
JOB DESCRIPTION: The successful candidate will show a research and teaching expertise in international business. He or she will be in charge of the relationship with the MSc IB students of the Sophia-Antipolis campus. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the Scientific Director of the Msc International Business (currently based on our Raleigh Campus). The successful candidate will be keen to interact with students and provide a strong commitment to engage in innovative teaching. He or she will control and supervise MSc students theses. Teaching will be mainly done with Master students, as well as executive education. He or she will have a central role in the institutional and academic lives and will be asked to contribute to the development of the campus. The successful candidate will be asked to interact with the local eco-system. He or she will be in charge of representing SKEMA Business School outside the school. Ability to cooperate with corporate and institutional partners in the field is appreciated. Funding for conference attendance, research support, and access to most attractive databases (such as WRDS, ThomsonOne, and Bureau van Dijk) are provided.
