The Lally School of Management & Technology at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute seeks applications and nominees for the Cary Wellington Chair in Business Analytics.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidate must hold an appointment as a tenured full professor. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or foreign degree equivalent in Information Systems, Business Analytics or a closely related discipline. Candidates must demonstrate having achieved the following in a minimum of at least seven (7) years of professional academic experience: research leadership; a track record of successfully mentoring and collaborating with faculty and doctoral students; evidence of outstanding teaching; a solid record of program building; and a willingness to play a key role in the growth, development and governance of new programs in the school.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Successful candidates will be expected to teach in the new Master's Program in Business Analytics. We are seeking individuals with research and teaching interest in applying business analytics to marketing, supply chain and health care domains. Strong econometric, analytical modeling and statistical analysis skills are required. We are also interested in candidates with strong technical skills in areas such as data management. The successful candidate will have duties that include teaching graduate and undergraduate courses in their departments, developing and maintaining robust programs of research and scholarship, as well as service to the department, the School of Management and to Rensselaer.

The Lally school offers undergraduate, masters, MBA and Ph.D. programs in business related disciplines including information systems. Approximately 350 undergraduate students, 120 MBA/MS students and 35 Ph.D. students are currently enrolled in the business school.
