Dear Colleague:

We are currently inviting applications for a limited number of spaces in the Batten Institute's highly selective Batten Fellows Program. The Batten Institute, a center for the study of entrepreneurship and innovation at the University of Virginia's Darden School of Business, designates a select group of thought leaders from around the world as Batten Fellows. Through a partnership with the Institute, Fellows from various disciplines pursue research in our core areas of interest, contributing to the creation of new knowledge and addressing issues that also have clear and practical implications for managers and policy makers.

Since its inception, the Batten Institute has welcomed more than 60 thought leaders from around the world as Batten Fellows. These appointments have offered these researchers the time and space to think creatively about how entrepreneurship and innovation address society's most serious challenges. Fellows have opportunities to build associations with academic areas within the University of Virginia and are encouraged to generate high impact intellectual capital.
