CALL FOR PROPOSALS

                HANDBOOK ON LAW, INNOVATION AND GROWTH

                  by 5:00 p.m. Central Standard Time


     The Handbook on Law, Innovation and Growth will cover
     scholarly aspects of the law as they relate to
     entrepreneurship, innovation, and growth. Aimed primarily
     at legal scholars but with an entrepreneurial lens to the
     chapter topics, The Handbook is intended to also be a
     reference for a broader policy and entrepreneurship
     scholarly audience. The Handbook will be edited by Robert
     Litan, Vice President for Research and Policy, at the
     Kauffman Foundation.


     PROPOSAL GUIDELINES:

     Proposals from legal scholars interested in writing a
     chapter of the Handbook should outline the following:

     - Proposed topic
     - In no more than 2 pages, statement of topical importance
       to entrepreneurship, innovation, and/or growth
     - Brief summary of proposer qualifications to prepare the
       paper (attach Curriculum Vitae)

     The accepted chapters in the Handbook will be 12-20 printed
     pages in length and summarize what is known on the subject.
     Final publication of the finished Handbook is anticipated
     in 2010, with accepted chapters due by December, 2009.


     SUBMISSION PROCEDURE:

     Electronic submissions of chapter proposals are due March
     31, 2008 should be sent to:
