Subject to approval by the Office of the Provost, the Economics Department anticipates three (open rank) tenure track openings for faculty with strong records in research and teaching. Appointment will be made on an academic year basis.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Microeconomic Theory is our high priority area for the first position and Microeconometrics is our high priority area for the second position. The third position is targeted at Empirical Microeconomics, especially in Labor, Health or the Economics of Education. Candidates in other fields may be considered if the record of scholarship is exceptionally strong.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: For candidates beyond the PhD, a well-established record of sponsored research and/or a record of obtaining grant funding will be preferred. Successful candidates will be expected to seek external funding for their research.
