ABOUT THE RESEARCH GROUP: The Research Group for Technology, Innovation and Policy Consulting of Policies provides public institutions, industrial partners and international policy makers with background analyses, scientific studies and knowledge intensive consulting services in the areas of science, research, technology and innovation. Our work forms the basis for evidence-based policy. We develop empirical fundamentals and new theoretical and conceptual approaches with a strong focus on research and innovation in the business sector. These concepts are implemented in policy-relevant analyses and recommendations also in corporate consulting services.

For our Research Group "Technology, Innovation and Policy Consulting" of Policies we are looking for a Senior Researcher with management responsibilities for the parts of the Group both in Vienna and in Graz.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: To qualify for this position you:
- have excellent professional background and respective research track record and publication
- have experienced in putting together successful larger-scale national and international projects
- combine the ability for applied research with experience in leadership and management

JOB DESCRIPTION: In this position, you are responsible both for the strategy orientation of the research group as well as for the development of new business areas, especially with a view to the private sector. Through your communicative and well-structured way of working, you are ensuring smooth cooperation between researchers of different disciplines and locations.

Monthly salary is 4.300 EUR, according to collective wage agreement. Overpay can be negotiated depending on skills, qualification and track record.
