Rector. The position is permanent, full-time.

JOB DESCRIPTION: The Rector initiates, guides,
and directs the School activities necessary to
fulfill the School's mission, which is to benefit
Russia's private and public sectors through
excellence in economics education and research.
The Rector is responsible for overall School
operations and reports directly to the Board of Directors.
The Rector develops and maintains strong
partnerships with the community at large,
addresses enrollment requirements, builds
financial stability, plans and leads fundraising
activities, deals with finding a new campus for
the School, works collaboratively within and
outside the School, and builds consensus and
enthusiasm for common goals among the various
stakeholders of the School, including faculty,
staff, students, and the outside community. The
position requires fluency in English and Russian.
ABOUT NES: NES, founded in 1992, is a private
graduate school of economics in Moscow. Social
Science Research Network ranks NES in the top 30
best economics departments in the world and the
top economics department outside the OECD. NES's
think tank CEFIR (Centre of Economic and
Financial Research) is ranked in the top 25
economic think tanks in the world by RePEc
(Research Papers in Economics). In 2011 NES
launched two other research centers: Center for
Demographic Studies and Center for New Media and Society.
