The Deutsche Bundesbank is one of the biggest central banks in the
world. Our core business areas are monetary policy, banking
supervision, financial stability, cash management and payment
systems. We are looking for a Researcher in the field of banking
regulation and supervision to join the Research Centre at our Central
Office in Frankfurt am Main. The Research Centre forges a link
between academic theory and the practical work carried out at the

JOB DESCRIPTION: Your research activities will contribute to the
Research Centre's work programme in the field of banking regulation
and supervision. Your work will mainly focus on the credit, market
and liquidity risks of financial institutions, in addition to the
impact of banking regulation on the banking sector. You will publish
your findings in international specialist journals and participate in
academic conferences.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- A university degree, (accredited) Masters degree or equivalent
qualification with above-average results
- A doctorate in the field of economics, econometrics or finance
- Ability to conduct first-class research, ideally demonstrated by publications
- Knowledge of advanced statistical methods and experience with
empirical research would be an advantage
- Good communication skills
- The ability to work well in a team
- Very good written and oral communication skills
