The Bilateral Assistance and Capacity Building for Central Banks program (BCC) is looking for Experts for capacity building in central banks. The BCC is administrated by the Geneva Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (GIIDS) on mandate of the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), and supports central banks in emerging countries in building the expertise required for the conduct of monetary policy.
JOB DESCRIPTION/QUALIFICATIONS: The BCC is looking to extend its network of experts available for short duration (one to two weeks) technical assistance missions in partner countries. We are looking for individuals with a solid experience in economic policy institutions, preferably central banks, motivated by assisting partner central banks in building up their strengths across the various aspects of policy conduct. The fields of activities include economic analysis, financial markets development, construction of statistical indicators, internal auditing, IT systems, human resources. The BCC offers competitive compensation and covers all costs related to missions. Experts are hired as short term external consultants.
