University Lecturership in Financial Econometrics

Grade 36S: 42,883 to 57,581 per annum Plus allowances

The Department of Economics in partnership with the Oxford-Many Institute seeks to make an appointment at University Lecturer level from 1 October 2013: University Lecturership in Financial Econometrics associated with a non-stipendiary fellowship at St. Edmund Hall.

JOB DESCRIPTION: The role will involve undertaking independent research, together with taking on teaching and supervision responsibilities for the Department of Economics. The post of University Lecturer is the main career grade for academic faculty at Oxford and is equivalent to an American associate professorship. The title of Professor may be awarded through the regular 'recognition of distinction' exercise conducted by the University.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: The Department invites applications from candidates in any field of Financial Econometrics with postdoctoral experience in an academic position, a proven high standard of research and be capable of providing graduate supervision.
