Five Junior Professors (W1) and Postdoctoral Fellows

The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at the Goethe-University Frankfurt and the Center for Financial Studies invite applications for Five Junior Professors (W1) and Postdoctoral Fellows for the Excellence Center "SAFE" starting at the earliest possible date. The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at Goethe University is seeking to fill five positions at the Junior Professor level and five positions at the Postdoctoral Fellow level in its new Center of Excellence on Sustainable Architecture for Finance in Europe, SAFE (https://www.ifk-cfs.de/safe). The positions are limited to six years, subject to a positive midterm review.

JOB DESCRIPTION/QUALIFICATIONS: Successful applicants are expected to conduct research and to contribute actively to the activities of the Center of Excellence, which include a visitors program, a data center, and numerous research projects focusing on different aspects of a sustainable architecture for finance in Europe. Candidates with interest in the research fields of SAFE will be given priority.

Candidates should show strong research potential and capacity for effective teaching at graduate and undergraduate levels.

Junior Professor Positions carry a teaching load of 4 hours per week. Candidates have the opportunity to get support from the dual career office of the university.

The designated salary for the position is based on "W1" on the German university scale or equivalent. The Goethe University is seeking to increase its share of women in research and teaching and particularly welcomes applications of female scholars.
