Faculty Position in Natural Resource Economics

The Technical University Bergakademie Freiberg is the longest established school of mines in Germany and located in the German state of Saxony. We are currently expanding our faculty and have an opening at the Professor level in Economics, commencing April 1, 2013.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants should be academics of international standing with a significant track record of research publications in high quality journals. They should have done extensive research in Natural Resource Economics (JEL Classification System Q2-Q4). Teaching assignments encompass courses in natural resource economics, microeconomics and international trade. Applicants should be ready to learn German and, after a transitional period of two to three years, do much of their teaching in German as well.
