An engaging personality, along with excellent communication skills are essential, while previous tertiary teaching experience would be advantageous. Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor Agribusiness
JOB DESCRIPTION: The appointee will supervise graduate students, and conduct research and extension activities in food and fibre agribusiness systems as well as contribute to the teaching of undergraduate and graduate courses in agribusiness. Relevant commercial and academic experience is expected, with a strong network in, and proven global perspective of, food and fibre agribusiness systems.
The appointee will be responsible and accountable for research programmes, the preparation, administration and delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate papers, research programmes, and extension and other activities associated with the Agribusiness programme. Responsible to Head of Agribusiness and Farm Management Department.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Publications should provide proof of a strong background in both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies applied within the agribusiness context. In addition, you will have demonstrated experience in case study research and development, publication and teaching. A graduate degree in a field that substantiates your qualifications to meet the above objectives is essential.
